Hey guys,
So I have been writing lyrics for a little while. I like to write based on life experiences and my music reflects who I am. I am not good with writing music to go with it, but I have an idea of how I want the song to sound. I have always wanted to make a demo, but I am not quite sure how to go about. Does anyone have any ideas?

Well, i find the easiest way to get started on lyrics is to find just what you want it to be about. Figure out what you want to base the song on (whether it be your love life, or randomness) and once you've done that, stop with the lyrics for a little bit. Start on the tune. Figure out what you want the songs beat, tune, or key (i mean, minor/major) to be (btw i find it easiest to start with the beggining, then go to the chorus and then the middle etc. and after fill in the transitions). Once you have to tune in just try and fit some good words into the tune. Good luck!
