Okay. My first boyfriend and I have been going out for a few weeks now. We are both 14. While on the phone one day he told me he loved me. He's told me that a few times already now. The last time I felt guilty so I said "I love you too." But I've been thinking and while I think he's very amazing and I couldn't be happier going out with him, love is a strong emotion and I want to be sure it's love. There's nothing wrong with him or our realtionship I just don't know if I'm ready yet. Do you think it's love and I should tell him I love him? (link)
I know this response is long, but I think reading it will help answer a few things.

The worst part about a young couple is false love. Although hearing a boy tell a girl, or vice versa, that they are in love with their girlfriend/boyfriend can be rather cute, it can sometimes be mislead. Most of the time when someone falls emotionally for another person, they tend to believe that it is 'love'. This happened to me before with this boy I thought I loved. The thing was, he was a player and told many people he loved them, so when he told me he loved me (me being oblivious to him being a player), I totally believed him.

Turned out that neither of us loved each other, after long nights of grieve over him. Now, though, I am in love and it is THE best feeling in the world. I know it is true because I am no good with relationships, and never go past about 2 weeks before getting bored of my boyfriend. It has been a happy 2 months and I am not bored at all. :)
