I am very good at giving advice. I've been an "A" student since my first day at school in kindergarten. I am Student Body President of my school. Currently single, but TONS of guy friends. I love the color green, and last year I lost like 30 pounds. I am very good at health questions.

Hi im 17/f and i want to get rid of the cellulite in my butt and my thighs. I dont even want to wear a bikini because its so bad i think. Like when i sit down you can see it. Im not fat though im 5'6 and i weigh about 150 pounds. People say i hide it well cuz i dont look like i weigh that much. Is there any great work outs that i could do at home to get rid of it? Does running help? And how long is it going to take to get rid of it? Another question is i have stretch marks on my thighs and is there any way to get rid of those or reduce the visibility? Thanks so much for your help! (link)

First off, if you have stretch marks, they are probably part of your family's genes and you can't get rid of them. You can give it a shot though- by exercising.
I used to have that problem too. Running does help. Use a treadmill for this exercise:
-Warm up at 1 mph for 2 minutes
-Start your walking pace at 3.5 mph for 3 minutes
-Move up to 7 mph for 1-2 minutes
-Go back to your walking pace at 3.5 mph for 3 minutes
-keep doing this for 4-6 cycles. You may change the mph's if necessary.
-end with a cool down. 1 mph for 2 minutes.
***It should take about a month to get really good results, possibly less***
Also, swimming is really good for your thighs and butt. Since it is Summer, try swimming laps in the pool. Or jog in the pool.
