okay so i am talking to this guy and my step mom and step brother tell me i am related to him, but i KNOW i am not.. and everyone else says im not...

they say this because he is the half brother of my cousin.....BUT on her dads side to whom i am not related. So we are not related at all! are we?? i wouldnt say so... but i dont see how we could be so if we are can you like explain it to me please??

Unless there's a big family secret that your step mom and step brother know about, you two aren't related. But still even if you guys aren't blood, you're still considered family, so maybe that's what they mean by "related."

i have never seen this boy before except for maybe once, and i dont think there is a big family secret, lol...my cousins dad dont even claim her as his child so i guess that makes it better?? haha but thanks!!
