hi! im wearing this gorgeous dress to prom:

you cant really tell as much in the picture but everything, especially the straps, are really detailed. its even more fancy in real life than online. theres a lot going on at the top and i dont want to cover it up with my hair. its gonna clash and look ugly and overdone. i have a LOT of hair. its long and kinda thick but at the same time i look like crap with my hair in an updo. what should i do with it? OMG THAT DRESS IS HOT AS HELLLLL!!!! I wish I had a dress like that when I went to prom :(
You're 100% right about not wearing your hair down. It'll really take away the focus of the dress and cover up the straps.
You should really wear your hair up, but if you reallly hate updo's, then you should wear a half-updo and half-down, or in a low bun. I have long, thick hair too, but it really works great with an updo.
