I just got a male betta fish, and was wondering what size tank is best for them?
I got a kit that includes a 1/2 gallon aquarium, food, water conditioner, and gravel. I think that should be okay, but I've read mixed things about tank size.
Any information on caring for Betta fish is appreciated.
Another name for the Beta Fish is a Japenese Fighting fis They get their name for wanting to fight other males. Follow the directions that came with the tank. Another good idea is to place a mirror behind the tank and watch as he tries to fight his image, congratulations on getting a beautiful fish.
