Its basically the same thing except the words are coming out of your mouth. going blank isnt always a bad thing, sometimes guy find it cute that you dont know what to say, its kind of like a compliment to them say "hey i must be hot if she doesnt know what to say to me". Flirting is most of the time initiated by the guy though. but if you want to take the first step them go ahead.
