In track and field when you use cleats can you use them for long jump? I mean like the sand doesn't bother them ? (link)

no sand wont do anything to cleats. i use them for cross country and my friends use them for track and field. they can make you not slide on sand...depends on the sand. but it really shouldnt affect anything.
