Relax, it's okay.
Just explain to her the situation, and the awkwardness and it has nothing to do with her but you're just not ready to french kiss yet. However explain to her you're still comfortable with hugging, a kiss on the cheek or maybe even a peck on the lips if you're comfortable with that.
Therefore she'll realise it's nothing to do with her and she shouldn't mind too much.
