I was wondering, can dogs feel your emotions? I know it's probably a stupid question but the other day, I yelled at my puppy for pooping in the house & gave him a little spanky. He ran off but couple minutes later, I got bad news about my friend and I started crying and even though he knew I was mad at him, he came by me and started licking me and snuggling by me. So, can dogs feel your emotions? (link)
Yes, they can they pick up emotions of the ones they love. When they do something bad and they know it they are ashamed but when your sad they will always be there for you. It is because they have strong connections with you that they have learned to recognize how you feel.
