I went to watch Gossip Girl on Wednesday, but it was the pilot for it again? Is it being cancelled or something?

no, its not cancelled. the episode was done already, and its airing next week at the same time. =]

in my opinion i think they didnt want to make a new episode on halloween because everybody would be out trick-or-treating so nobody would watch it, and that would look really bad since unfortunately, since the first airing of the pilot GG ratings havent been very good. =[
