well there this really sweet guy whos kinda shy, whos 18 and totally hot.

There are alot of boys like this. First off, if he says cute things to you on text, but doesnt do the same in person, either he like playing games, or hes just scared. Go with the flow for now, just hang out, talk, you dont have to try to impress him, or kiss him. If he still doesnt do anything then hes just messin with ur feelings and you dont want him anyway.
