Q: hey guysss...I have a poetry assignment due thursday. 10 poems. In one day..yeah, I know :p. I'm not asking for any help - don't worry lol.

Mostly for the poetry writers out here -
How do you get inspired to write poetry? Like...do you just look at random things? Or..?

Please...any advice? :) thank you very much
I always go with the mood I'm in or I think of a word and just go with it... I kinda write in a stream of consciousness and whatever comes out comes out... I always play a bass line on my bass or a riff on my guitar or anything like that to get me started... also another way to get inspired is by just listening to music... hope this helps!
