This guy and I have a great connection. I feel very strongly for him, just as he does for me. But, he is conflicted about us being together, or even feeling this way for that matter. He is unsure if it is the right thing.
We do not have a choice but to see eachother everyday because he is the Asst. Manager at my job. (The twist)
I feel like this could be an excellent opportunity to take up and in the end, it could be very beneficial.
He decided to retreat for the night to collect his thoughts. I do not know how I should take this. Tomorrow, if his decision is to back off, I would not get mad, but what could I do to keep my heart from being torn...? I really, really feel for this man.

Let me tell you...I was involed with someone who was 16 and he was 23. I am also not going to just say, "hes too old". But like the person before me said, you REALLY need to ask yourself, "why can't he find someone his own age." This is important because this same guy was with for about 3 years always assured me it was nothing to do with age. But, a year or two into our relationship, he cheated on me with a girl who was 15 (at the time i was 17 and he was 24). We aren't together now, and he is with a 18 year old and he is going to be 28. Now I realize that something isn't right with him.
So really think that there MAY be underlying issues with this man. It is also dangerous because you work together, and if something happens, work will be more than awkward. Be careful. Think it through and I think you will make the right decision.

Thank you. Yes, I see where you are coming from, but I do not see him as that type of guy. He is a downright sweetheart and has just been looking for love in all of the wrong places. Thank you for sharing your experience with me, I will keep that in mind.
