i'm 17, a junior in high school, live in the suburbs, am currently in the midst of a long-term relationship, and can be quite the busy bee at times. although i may not have been through everything in life (honestly, who has?), but i sure have had experience in many different areas of common interest. i believe advice is helpful, however i feel that personal experience and instinct is the best way to approach issues. my advice may not be what you want to hear, but my opinion is my own, take it or leave it!
the quote i live by: "happiness depends on ourselves."
advice
that teenagers are having sex earlier and earlier...
I sure dont want to have sex any time in high school...but I know lots of my friends are ready. to be honest it just all freaks me out...
yes, i'm afraid of having sex...and i just don't see how it would be pleasurable.
any comments or advice would help!
thx....
i agree, i remember being really little and thinking that people didn't have sex until they were in college or their 20's! but nowadays, it seems to be a growing trend to have it way younger. however, i believe it's also a personal choice, and although kids are doing it younger and younger, it's a learning experience. do i agree that kids should be having sex at ages younger than 16? not at all, i believe it's wrong. (however, i myself lost my virginity at 16.) it's about being responsible and understanding the consequences of the actions. it's okay to be afraid, that's a huge sign you aren't ready. when you're ready, you won't be afraid anymore! stick up for how you feel, and don't let anyone tell you anything different!
