Hey everyone. I'm 17,straight,in a relationship and a senior. I love to play the guitar and just have fun in general.Plus I love music. it's like my life. I also plan to major in psychology in college I'm great with relationship questions from both guys and girls and my opinions aren't exactly your average guy opinions (I love to listen.Chazam:)). so my bf and I are both pretty shy when we're around each other. We hung out the other day and my one friend was practically forcing us to hold hands. what should i do to get this friend to mind her own business? and how do i overcome some of my shyness around him?

I would try confronting your friend very nicely and just tell her that you and your boyfriend want to do things your way and if this friend would please stop because it makes you feel uncomfortable. as for the shyness thing the best cure for that ,and i know it's clique, is to talk to him about it. lay your feelings for him out on the line and let him do the same so there is no question about the level of attraction between you two. it may just be that you can't really figure out exactly how much he cares for you and therefore can't react appropriatly. you kiss your mom on the cheek because you love her as a parent, you kiss someone you like on the lips timidly cause it's something new and exciting, you hold hands lay on each other and kiss pationetly because both people in the relationship feel that they understand the other and are sharing something very special. it all depends on the feelings involved.
