If leaving a tampon in for too long can cause TSS, then why cant pulling one tampon out, and then imediately putting another one in not cause TSS? It's essentially the same thing, isnt it?
hey,
actually, it's not essentially the same thing. :P
this is because the only reason TSS is caused, is because of the blood being set, and bacteria forming. so, if you change the tampon every few hours, there's less of a chance for bacteria to form and make you sick!
