i know there alot of forgein exchange programs that bring kids to the u.s. from other countries. are there any that u.s kids can do to go to other countries? if so, where can i read about it? i've tried searching google, but i didnt find anything.

foreign exchange means the exchange a american kid for a foreign kid. so yeah you have to ask your school. maybe the counselor or principal.

not always. my neighbor had a german forgein exchange student stay with her, but noone went for her..
