so, theres this boy i know at school. and everyone talkes about him in a good way. i really like him A LOT! he is so hot. but, he hates himself. he puts himself down, and doesn't think his life is worth anything. he doesnt want to go to college or do anything with his future. i feel bad for him. i want him to think positively and not so negatively. what should i do?
ps. i already told him that he is a good person, but he didn't believe me.

Actions speak louder than words, when you tell someone something it goes in one ear and out the other. So instead of telling him how special he is, show him how special he is to you. Become his best friend, and talk to him, make him open up to you, if necessary talk or share your own problems with him, so he can see he's not alone.
does this guy have friends, if not then you be the first. try this, i have a friend and she has been through quite a lot in her life, and i just try to cheer her up...maybe you should try to do something that he enjoys, but you can only find this out once you befriend him and talk to him about his problems, and maybe give him some of your own advice, good luck, and if you think he's hot, just tell him, guys like girls love attention, and want to be loved, its part of human nature, anyway take care...and let me know how it goes?
