I went to King's Island in Ohio the first year the Son of Beast opened. I remember they made such a big deal outta it because its a wooden rollar coaster and it had a loop (the loop was made out of steel). Well I went back to King's Island a few weekends ago and went on the Son of Beast and the loop was gone. I look at the park's website to see if they had anything about why they removed the loop, but they had nothing. Does anyone know why they took it away, or if there was even ever a loop. (link)

well son of beast was a huge deal because it was the only wooden roller coaster with a loop...last year...maybe two years ago there was a big problem and a lot of people got hurt on the ride...idk exactly what went wrong but they took the loop out as a result of it...i personally feel that the ride just isn't the same anymore
