about
I'm a med student, so health related questions I can usually answer pretty well. I also like to think I'm somewhat decent at giving advice. I can also give you an honest opinion."I love waking up in the morning not knowing what's gonna happen or, who I'm gonna meet, or where I'm gonna wind up. I figure life's a gift and I don't intend on wasting it. You don't know what hand you're gonna get dealt next."
"I believe in colors. I believe that laughing is the best calorie burner.I believe in being strong when everything seems to be going wrong. I believe that happy girls are the prettiest girls. I believe that tomorrow is another day and I believe in miracles."
advice
Okay, i wiegh about 146 pds, im 5'3 and the scale says my body fat is around 12.0. I was wondering if that number is good or bad for my weigh and height.
thankss !
Everyone is going to send you all of these BMI calculators, but they're not always accurate. Sorry, but not everyone is a skinny model and you don't have to weigh 110 pounds at 5'3". I went to my doctors and i used to weigh 141 pounds at 5'3" and my DOCTOR (not a BMI calculator) said I was fine and not overweight. Now I weigh 134 because I've been really active in soccer. But my point is that since my doctor said I was fine at 141 at 5'3", then you're probably fine at 146, however, i would consider loosing 5-10 pounds just to be on the safe side :]
(Rating: 4) I was actually wondering if 12.5 percent body fat is a good number for my weight. Not my BMI
