Hey I'm 19 and a college sophomore. I'm majoring in social work and I want to do something with child services for a career. I love to read and write and I love to get book recommendations. :) I love to sing and listen to music and I love to be around the people I love. I'm 16. I've never drank, done drugs, or done anything with a guy. I'm pretty okay with that because I do really well in school, have never gotten in trouble before, and still have alot of fun with my friends. I actually have a good time just reading a book or watching TV or whatever. Is that weird? I mean, I kind of hang out with a really straight-edged kind of group of people, and I don't really mind that. Am I the only one in high school who actually IS a good girl like that? Because sometimes I feel like everybody's out getting drunk at crazy parties while I'm at home reading a book. Haha. Hopefully good things come to those who wait and DON'T make stupid decisions in high school? I just don't want to look back at high school when I'm older and wish I did crazier stuff... It's not weird at all. In fact, I'm exactly the same way. Growing up, I had two parents who were alcoholics, so alcohol is kind of my enemy and drugs never were appealing and I'm waiting until I'm a responsible adult to have sex. That's just the way I've been brought up and my friends are similar to me as well..so good for you for staying clean, I know it can be hard since most teens aren't but it's good that there are other good teenagers out there with me :)
