Alright, so I'm going to get my eyebrows waxed for the first time EVER sometime this week, and I'm a little nervous.
1) How long will it take?
2) How do they do it?
3) On a scale one to ten, ten being highest, how bad did it hurt for you the first time?
4) What age did you start getting yours waxed/plucked, etc?
5) How often will I need to get them redone or whatever?
Plz help, I'm a little confused, and really nervous.
1.) Usually takes about 3-5 minutes for the whole process - atleast for me. Depends on the person's pace.
2.) Apply the wax to shape the bottom of your eyebrow, strip off. Apply the wax to the top of your eyebrow, strip off. Repeat on your other eyebrow. Then they'll do in between eyebrows (Don't worry, they aren't suggesting you have a unibrow, haha.) Then they'll pluck anything that wasn't waxed. Thankfully, it's usually only a few suckers.
3. 3. I think it actually feels good now, haha. If it hurts for anyone, it's for 2 seconds.
4. I started plucking when I was about 15. But I switched to getting them waxed when I was 18. You couldn't pay me to pluck them again. It's too painful & more of a hassle, in my opinion.
5. Depends on the person. Mine don't start becoming REALLY noticable till after a month & a half. If you occassionally pluck them to keep their shape, you can go longer without having to go back.
Aw, hey girl you're only getting more worked up than it really is. It's no biggie, I promise. This question reminds me I need to go get mine done. How exciting. :)
(Rating: 5) Lolz. That was definitely appreciated alot. And no, [lol] I don't have a unibrow. hahah. Thanks!
