ok well i listen to my chemical romance and green day and all these other punk bands, and everytime i listen to them my bros are like \"they are so gay, they look gay, they laugh gay. \" and all this other bull crap. well i mean i just get really ticked off and i just go in my room and slam the door. plus like when im talking to my best friend mikey (who is a little on the feminin side) my brothers are like oh my gosh he is so freaking gay. like one time i was talking to him on aol and i said hey boy and he was like \"hey gurlie, whats up? and then later on i told him i learnt a new trick on my skateboard and he was like oh my gosh thats soooo awesome!!! and my brothers were just sitting there calling him gay. which another thing. my whole family thinks there is some huge issue with homosexuality. i mean i dont get whats the big deal. i mean no im not homo but i have no problem with other people being like that. i mean my dad is all \"well you should be who you are and not care what other people think\" and if who you are is being gay or bisexual then so be it. but i mean anyways how do i get my family and my brothers to stop critizing all these people and calling them bi or gay. i mean i\'ve tryed talking to them and then they\'re all (well u just have an obsession with them and you dont want us talking about your \"precious friends, or your precious my chemical romance\" so talking doesnt help, and i dont wanna be a snitch or nothing. so what can i do???? thanks so much in advance. my parents have a thing with homosexuality too...I'm not homosexual but my best friend is...I love him to death and sometimes my dad will say something about gays that upsets me just because my friend is gay...but the truth is that no matter what you can't change their opinions...I've tried...it doesn't work...just simply explain to them that you get upset when they say stuff like that and that while you can't change what they think you'd appreciate it if they didn't say it around you. If that doesn't work you just have to learn to ignore it...It seems hard but it's not as bad as you'd think it is

thanks, i have a friend that is homo too so i guess were going through the same thing. :) but thanks for your advice, and ill try to talk to them about it
