My name is Lyndsey and I'm 17 years old. I live in Lexington, South Carolina. I pride myself on being mature for my age with a good head on my shoulders, but I find I can be snippy when I hear something that just hits a nerve. I have a lot of strong opinions and I have no problem arguing them. I'm a very open-minded person and very tolerant of most things.
Immaturity is a big pet peeve of mine, as is self-centered, narrow-minded, and ignorant people. I can be cruel when it comes to these things, but sometimes certain people need to be told their faults. I know mine and I have no problem being confronted with them. If someone has a problem with me, online or in person, I'd rather they tell me and we can resolve the issue in a mature fashion. I won't tell you want to WANT to hear, just what you NEED to hear.
On a less serious note, I'm a laid back person and I enjoy shopping, the internet, and my favorite TV shows (Queer as Folk, The L Word, Friends, American Idol, Will & Grace, House). I don't have a large group of friends, but the ones I have are close and I love them to death. I generally enjoy life, minus the whole school deal. I'm a junior in high school and I can't wait to move on to college. I am an honors student and I hope to go to the University of South Carolina and then eventually into the medical field, possibly psychology.

i understand love but my 2 bffs are in love and dating. but their my 2 best frinds and their dating(girl and guy). im 13/f. i dont want then to break up and fall apart and me be in the middle which i think theyll never hate eachother. but their soooo lovey i guess. and they have alone time but around me or on aim or the phone their so 'oh i love you sooooo much and ooooo stop that there tickeling eachother and kissing and they always lick and suck on eachothers ears wats up with that. anything anywhere like ill say when we go out as friends can u stop kissing long enough to get in the car gawd. i dont want them to end up hating eachother. and i dono what to do to keep them together or as friends. and i dono what to do when their so gushy. what do i do? im lost? Well the fact that they're practically humping each other at all times, even when you're around, is just plain rude. Maybe you should talk to them about not being comfortable and feeling like the third wheel when they can't remove their tongues out of each others mouths long enough to hang out with you as friends. Sure, they like each other, but PDA is pretty much gross.
As for keeping them together, I'm afraid that's not up to you. The only thing you can do is, if they do break up, talk to them and remind them of the friendship they had. Sometimes couples stay friends after they break up and some don't. If they're going to hate each other, their maturity levels need some tuning, but aside from that there's not really a way you can fix it.
