my friend has feelings for her female teacher, it is definately not me. but my friend has been coming to me for advice and i dont really know what to say to her. her teacher is more like a close friend. she gives her lifts home and they talk outside of school hours. my friend recently tried to commit suicide and the teacher was there for her then. but she still feels low and confused because of the age difference and the whole situation. any ideas what i can say to her? thanks (link)

From an adult point of view noting will ever come of this relationship and if it does the teacher would be very very wrong and it will end up being a really big mess. The best thing for your friend would be to seek some professional help perhaps a school guidance counselor or another adult that she feels comfortable with. I really hope she does because trying suicide is not good. Perhaps she is looking for an adult role model and that is where the attraction for the teacher is coming from.
