advice

I'm 17 years old an a virgin, so I never worried about pubic hair before. I shaved the sides and trimmed the rest so it was neat and clean. After all, I was the only one seeing it.

I thought about shaving the whole thing for a long time (my sister does it and I know the smooth look is popular) and today I just shaved it all off. Here's two questions.

1.) I soaked in hot bathwater for awhile to soften the hair before I shaved. I lathered it up and shaved it in all directions...twice! It feels smooth but it sort of looks stubbly in some places. It's not horrible...but does anyone know what I mean or what I could do about it?
2.) No offense to those that shave it all, but it just looks...stupid on me...like a 10 year old girl. What are, in your opinion, other more attractive styles of doing it...like the strip.

Thanks for any advice I can get! I'll rate. :)

to help with the stubble: use shaving cream AND conditioner mixed together. use your finger to stretch your skin in order to get a closer shave.

as for looking like prepubescent girl, i agree with that. we should celebrate what nature gave us. yet in some cases, (hygeinic, sexual, comfort), we have to shave. it would be a little embarassing if you didnt grow pubic hair, and a little embarrasing if you did but its its kind of a dignity thing.

i think leaving a design of hair at the top shows that you DO have pubic hair, yet you keep it under control. i personally leave a strip, a small triangle, sometimes a circle... whatever i feel like.

hope i helped!

(Rating: 5) Thank you for the quick response! I'll definitely try the conditioner/skin stretching things as well as the different styles of pubic hair. Now I don't feel quite as stupid for asking these questions.
