I need to know the different between clinical depression, anxiety, and severe stress. How can you tell if you really have a mental problem or if you're just really emotional? I know only a doctor can make the diagnosis, but I need to know so I don't have to waste my time going there if I'm feelings these things for no reason. (link)
... usually, when people are upset, they are just upset for... MAYBE.. a couple days; at the most, a week. if the more than three of the following apply to you:

anxiety
hopelessness
too much/ too little sleep
sudden weight loss/gain
thoughts about death/suicide
hurting yourself
moods fluctuate extremely/quickly
loss of interests
socialy excluding yourself

in the past two weeks, for at least two weeks, then you probably have dpression. CLINICAL, that is. its completely fine. talk to your doctor, theres medication for it, such as lithium, zoloft, and many more.

you can go to depression.com
you can call NAMI- 1800-950-6264

hope i helped (;
please tell me if i helped you; rate me honestly; i'd appreciate it. thnx_ang*

That makes perfect sense, the whole thing about it lasting more that a few days. I never thought about it that way before. Thank you!
