I am a 17 y/o male. My "love" is not talking to me because she wants someone taller and heavier than herself. I am 5'10", 130 lbs, and she is 5'9", 130 lbs. She feels that i must be heavier, not just the same weight. Since my weight is distributed throughout muscle, she is insecure. I have trouble gaining weight, so what should i do? (link)
From what I have read you are in pretty good shape so far. After all you are already an inch taller so that's one thing down. About weight that's the tricky one. Some people gain weight harder than others because their metabolism is so fast in burns off everything on contact. What you have to do is eat more than the body can burn off. Remember 3500 extra calories equals one pound. Try to eat lots of grains like bread and don't forget the protein. Working out with free weights also helps a lot. Try to aim for 1 to 2 pounds increases every week. Anything more would be unhealthy. Drink plenty of water too muscle is mostly water.
