well the kind i used was Tampax Sport, regular... plastic

soooo yeah... i don't think there is a smaller size for that. Thanks for your advice, I'll probably talk with my mom when she comes back home in a few days.

Anytime. Good luck with all this. and if it keeps hurting ask your doctor. There is a smaller tampon called OB you could get it at a drug store.
