Why is it that i'm not allowed to change my belly button ring for 6 months after i got it done? Would somthing bad happen if i did (it's about a month later)? If i did it really carefully and made sure it was really clean.

I have my belly button pierced too. i would say to wait 2 months then if you really want to change it, when you take the new ring your gonna put in clean it w/ bactine, the put neosporin on the top and bottom of the hole. when you go to put the new on in lie on your back, it will make it easier to go through the hole. p.S. don't change it to much after that until it has healed.
