Hey, Im angela and im around the same age as you and i went through the saw probelm, im bi and i liked my bestfriend, and but i didn't tell her until a night were everyone was at her house and we watched a movie, it was really akward at the starting but then my arm was around her and she didn't care, and then i still didn't tell her i liked her because i was scared it would ruin our friendship, but then a coupel weeks after she told me she liked me so i told her i liked her too, nothing went wrong everything was fine.
