im 13/f
i keep getting signs of deppression i used to be a cheerleader until i quit and iv just seemed to give up on everything im smokeing weed now i enjoy just getting drunk and stoned and iv lost all interest in boys and girls (im bi) and even sex at times i dont know what to do iv even cut my leg a couple times please help

ok, first i'd like to congratulate you on recognizing that you have a problem. that is the first step to getting better. if you feel suicidal in anyway please go to my myspace www.myspace.com/dripping_with_sin it gives facts and treatment for people who are suicidal. how you can help is ask a parent to take you to a psychologist or psychiatrist. medicine helps but only if its prescribed by a doctor. or if your not comfortable with that or don't know of any you can go to your schools social worker or psychologist and discuss how you are feeling with them. but if you go to a doctor and they prescribed you medicine you really need to not take drugs or drink alcohol becuase it can end your medicine. you are still so young and it would be something very precious to lose. im 14/f and i get depressed all the time. i never drank or did drugs and i think those elements are adding to your problems and depression. u need to gradually wean yourself off of them because they are not good for you or your future. and don't look to sex to make you happy, because next thing you know you'r going to end up pregnant or with an STD. so please. do yourself a fovar, stop having sex, drinking, and doing drugs and go see a professional who can help. if you need someone to talk to IM me at xcrimsonxsinsx6 i don't want you to hurt yourself and i care a lot about the teenagers of our generation. every 18 minutes someone in this country takes thier life, please dont let that be you!
