hello i am facing a similar problem with the person i am in a relationship with. It honestly depends upon how far you have gone with the person for example giving away your virginity, that will make the situation hard. Or if it was your first love the person will be in the back of your mind subconciously. But, there is hope it may take awhile to recover depending on how serious the relationship was/is. First off spend sometime with the people you havent seen in awhile such as friends/family memebers. Dont feel bad talking about it even getting a consuler to discuss these factors may help.(only a suggestion)You can also plan a trip to somewhere you love or try a new activity to get your mind off of that person. Take a break from romance, explore your options. But to be completely honest its hard. And if you have anymore questions feel free to ask.
