Ok...some people say teens give terrible advice but I am against that. We can experience things and relate to them. That is why we are such good columnists! Tell me some of your problems and I will do my best and give you some good advice.

I'm getting really frustruated with my mom. Everytime I don't get invited to a party or some big event my mom goes off asking me a million questions about why I wasn't invited. She rubs it in more and more that I wasn't invited in the first place. Then when I ask her to stop, she goes off about how dramatic I am and thats probably why I wasn't invited.

What should I do? (link)
I had a similar experience with my mom; different circumstances. Your mom doesnt mean to be...nosy and frustrating, maybe she doesn't know she is bothering you that much. Anyways, moms always do that so, your not alone. My advice is to talk to her and tell her how her questions bother you etc., she may get a little mad at first, anyone would when they're getting a telling off.
Or, bettter yet, do not even talk about the parties. But if you do,tell your mom when she asks about why you were not invited how they (the hosts) are messing out etc. because your not there. Stand up for yourself which will tell your mom that you do not care why you were not invited. (Even if you do kinda sorta care inside) Self confidence is everything. Maybe, just maybe, she will back off. That might work. Self esteem always does. That is my advice.

P.S. My problem was that my mom was extremley popular when she was younger and I am only in between, average, normal. She did not know what it felt like and that was why she kept pushing. I just told her that I didn't care if I wasn't invited to something because they were missing out on what it could be if I was there. I just held confidence and my mom backed off.
