I just got one, this is my first pet, and I have the food. The container says feed once, and the food says feed twice, so I dont know what to do. Besides that, how do i care for this kind of fish?

Check this site; By the way another name for Bettas is Siamese Fighting Fish to clear up any confusion. Make sure you don't get another Male Betta unless its in a separate bowl or they will kill eachother and keep the bowl away from mirrors, I put mine on my dresser infront of a mirror and fed him before school, when I came home he was dead because he thought his reflection was another fish and rammed the bowl until he died :^(.
