well, im in 8th grade and i think i like this kid in 7th grade. im not sure if my friends would be okay with me liking someone in 7th grade so i havnt told them/. over the weekend i spent like a whole day with him and some other people and we talked a lot and i really like him. another thing is that he might like my friend because whenever i like a guy they like her and its always that way and i hate it but tis just whgat happens. what do you think i should do.. tell my friends, stop liking him, try to get closer and talk more to him, what!!!!!! Well first of all, who cares what your friends or anybody thinks for that matter? If you like this guy and he makes you happy, you should go for it ; and you're friends should be happy for you, too. Otherwise, they're not being very good friends, are they?
Also, you should just try hanging out with him more and getting to know him better. Everytime you hang with him, add a little more flirtng to it, to slightly hint your interested. Compliment him, maybe. Don't forget to make alot of eye contact with him, and just smile whenever he's around and just have a great time and show him how great you are. If he stills goes for your friend, he's a jerk, and it's his loss, and you know that. But just show you guys have common interests, and how great a time you guys'd have together if you dated.
And after awhile if you notice he's sending you signals of liking you back, then take a chance and let him know how you feel! You never know, this guy could be a great boyfriend, adn you'll never know unless you find out. We only live life once. :] And just tell him whenever you feel comfotrable enough, and how you feel most comfortable doing it ; phone, email, etc.
