HEY EVERYONE, I'M KAT!
and i'm here to help :)
i love to give advice, and i've been told that i give some good advice, aswell.
i'm very dedicated once i get involved in someone's problems, and i'll probably make sure you're okay, and that my answer has been sufficent.
i don't 'sugarcoat' my answers, as just about every columnist on this site complains about, but i do present everything in a way that people will be able to handle, and relate to in their situation.
i could honestly care less about ratings, i just wanna help some people out. in my problems, current and past, i seek help through my friends, who i adore.
i'm a huge my chemical romance fan, and i know pretty much everything about them; so if you have a question on them, i'm here. go for it. ;)
i'm unique in my own way, so ask me for something, and i'll give you a fairly different answer.
XOXO
KAT!

I love my cat a lot. I spoil her. I spend so much money on her, including on food, treats, toys, and little cat furniture (like beds and such). But almost every time I feed my cat food, she eats a little of it, then starts kicking the bowl with her front paw, and scratching the carpet, trying to cover up the bowl (even trying to put stuff in it like a sock that was next to it, or her toys). I have no idea why she is doing this! I sometimes tried to stop her, but in a way I also think she has a good reason for doing it.. so I am not sure if I should anyway. What is my cat doing?? And what should I do?? Thanks in advance! (link)

I'd say to leave her alone. Most animals, especially ones in a new house hold, love to play with everything around them. She may be covering up the bowl, becuase she dosen't want it taken away , like an animal would hide their food in the wild. You should be able to leave her alone on this, as long as the goes and eats the food later. If she's not eating properly, you should try a new kind of food, or try taking her to a vet to get a reccomendation on how to change her eating habits.
Scratching at the carpet is completly normal. You'll just have to try to get her to be trained to not to it. Most cats I know of do this, so dont worry abou that. =D.
Hope this has helped at all!!
