Q: Ok this dog we just got is perfect! She's a black lab and adorable. She doesn't touch anything during the day except her toys. And she never leaves my brothers side when they're sleeping.

But the only thing is, she doesn't like to go in the kitchen. When she does, she goes in there for whatever she needs then she whimpers and backs out. Why is she doing this and what could we do to make her feel more comfortable in the kitchen?

And, she won't eat her dogfood. Whyyy? XD We're suggesting she doesn't like that kind..But she does eat treats. So that is a possibility. We're going to try another flavor. But how could we, other than get another flavor, get her to eat what she already has?

Thanks. :)
i have a dog too. he's a shih-tzu
and chewy is four years old =D

when my dog was a puppy, he was
also afraid to go into the kitchen.
i think because its new territory,
it's pretty cold on those floors
and their slippery. also they make
noises when you step on them. my
dog wouldnt eat if the food was in
the kitchen. so we put the food
by his bed [cage] and gradually
moved it up each day until the
good bowl made it into the kitchen.
now he's used to the kitchen and
his food and water bowls are in there.
hope i helped :] inbox me if you have
anymore questions!

thanks!
