OK, im 13/F. Theres this guy at school that I think im starting to well like. All my friends say I do but when I try to say I dont like him to them as I say his name or the word dont I get this big smile on my face or start to laugh so my friends dont believe me. I havent really liked liked a guy that much before so im really confused. I talk to him all the time and when im not I think about him. I trust him with anything (like i tell him so much but he keeps it secret) and I go on msn waiting for him to come on. I used to think of him as my best guy friend but now im not so sure. I email him and he emails me and I notice I get mad at him when he doesnt reply withen the next day. My friends say that on the busride I say his name at least 20 times each day. Do I like him? I know you want me to say no, but you want my opinion, and it sounds to me like you might have some feelings for the guy.
Because I have quite a few guy best friends and I trust them with everything I have to, but I never sit there and wait for them to sign on or get mad if they don't reply to me the next day. Those are things girls usually do when they've developed a crush on somebody.
Even though you may like him, and find it weird, it doesn't mean you have to act upon those feelings. If you find it'd be too weird to be with him, then don't tell anybody, and just don't make any actions about it, and just try and not think about him in that way, and just wait and see if the feelings subside. Now, don't get impatient if they don't go away right away ; they might take some time. But whenever you guys hang out, just imagine you two being best friends and nothing more, and sooner or later the feelings'll pass. Trust me, I speak from experience and me and my best guy friend are best friends still and everything's great.
