Hi, my names Melanie.
I'm fifteen years old.
I love fashion, hanging out with my friends,
and drawing and writing along with a bunch of other stuff.
I used to have an old account here that was quite known for awhile,
but I sort of just lost touch with it,
so I decided to make a new one.
I'll try and help you the best I can,
just hopefully I didn't lose touch with my good advice, haha.
And feel free to IM me with your problem too.
I also put my myspace in a link down below,
if you ever want to add me & talk.

I guess I'll just say it, though I don't want to be full of myself, but I'm extremely good at lacrosse. Multiple people tell me this, and people always tell my parents how good I am etc. However, lately my skills haven't really been that good. Also, school lacrosse is starting up soon, and I want to be the best. I'm a freshman, but I have high probabilities of making varsity. I know the coaches, and have some people that can put in good words for me. I guess my question is, is how can I be the best? What can I do to make myself noticed. Also, on my lacrosse team, and in school, I'm not the most popular person, and there are alot of, lets say b!+che$ on my team. They all treat me like crap, though I do nothing. It might be because I am better than them, but I just don't know. What can I do to get more respect, and stand out, and I guess be the "popular" one on my team?
THanks.. (link)

Well, this will for one help you get to know people better and make yourself more "popular" around the team, and also give you the respect you deserve, make you noticed, and help you out with your skills.
Talk to them. Ask them if they'd like to run a few laps with you or practice a few drills. Send them a compliment or two they're way on their skills so you don't come off as cocky, and you can invite them in as a friend.
Ask them if they could give you any advice so you'd make the varsity team and if maybe they can all help you sometime whenever you're all doing your drills or practices or whatever.
Like I said, this sends them a message that you're friendly, and you want to be friends with them and that you really are a nice person and got the wrong impression of you. Hopefully, if they're mature and nice, they'll take you up on your offer and who knows? Budding friendships may form.
Rememmmmmber, there's no "I" in team!
It may all just be because like you said, you're extremely good at lacrosse and they may feel intimidated by you and jealous, but like I said, show them they got skills to, and they're a great asset to the team and that's the reason they're on this team.
Your teamwork and deciation and social skills with the girls will earn you your respect, and your coach and other future coaches may notice how kind you are towards your teammates and how willing you are to help, teach, recieve help, and befriend people. That's all the good qualities in a team member.
I hope I helped.
