16/f-- I have liked the same boy for a long time now. I go through periods of time where I start looking at other boys, but I always end up back to him. Now, I think he likes me. The way he acts toward me. We flirt and stuff. I'm the first girl on his top 8. But I'm not totally sure. I just want to know, what kind of things should I look for to know for sure. And, what can I do to let him know for sure without saying "hey, I like you". I won't just tell him, so don't give that advice, please. No matter who you're around, just give him a slight more extra attention. Just slight, though. Don't make it too obvious, cause then to some people you might come off as like, being all over him or something.
Also, just make alot of eye contact and smile at him alot. Those are huge common signs of interest for people.
And just sit close to him whenever you can, and hug him or make some form of touch or contact with him. Even just do a cute little thing and grab his cheeks, or kiss him on the cheek or poke his stomach or sides or nudge him and have a little poke war or nudge war, that may later turn into tickling/wrestling war.
Also, compliment him. Tell him he looks nice, and compliment his clothes like his shirt or something, and maybe start a conversation about it if it's say, a band t-shirt and you both like that band. Talk maybe of the concerts you both've been to and whatnot, it'll show you guys could possibly hang at the same places in the future together and have similiar interests in music and everything.
And just listen to him, give him advice, be there for him, share jokes and laughs, have serious talks, just be yourself with him. Show him the real, great you, and what a great girlfriend you'd be if you two went out together.
