i have no clue why these types of questions are so common, but here it goes:
there`s this kid at my school who is like...16 (i`m 14) and i really like him. he`s got black, "emo" hair, a lip ring, and is just so damn hot. i hear a lot of my friends say that he`s an ass, but why guy isn`t? all my friends say that they could see me with him, and that he`s probably better than my current boyfriend (i doubt it). My bf and i are "taking a break", and i recently found out that he slept with another girl. Now when he said we needed a break (due to my mother), i thought you know, not seeing each other and taking time for ourselves. i did`t think he meant we could hook up with other people. I had plenty of chances to, but i didn`t. I just made-out with some boy down the street. I really like the guy that`s in my class (on certain days) but i`m afraid to talk to him and that i`ll get rejected. i`ve really never been rejected by a guy, because i`ve never asked one out or anything. Ok...maybe once or twice...but i didn`t mind being rejected then. Now i do. The thing is, he`s the same zodiac sign as my boyfriend (which is good) and we have somewhat of the same interests (i won`t say what they are ;]). I`m just dealthy afraid that if we do hook up, he`d talk smack about me later. what to do, what to do? what do you guys think? (link)

Emo kids are bad news, sweetheart. They are self centered, self destructive, and pompus. This boy sounds like a disgusting human being. If your friends say that he's a jerk then he PROBABLY IS!
As to the "what guy isn't" part, I have more male firndes than female friends and they are glorious people. If all the boys in your life are unkind, then you are rollin' with the wrong crowd. He's too old for you and even if you do date him he will just reject you in the end. Stick with the boyfriend ya got.
