Hey. My name's Liv and I fancy myself a rather good advice giver, or at least my friends do. Er, I'm fifteen, love anything related to Japan, am a LOTR nerd, like to draw and paint, and love to write. I'm an anti-conformist, even to anti- conformists.

At the beginning of summer, I started developing an eating disorder. I didn't know why I wouldn't eat and I didn't understand why it was happening but it scared me and the rest of my family. My mom wanted to take me to the doctor but I kept telling her that I was fine and everything was okay. Not long after, I was volunteering at the hospital and passed out. My mom then decided that she was going to take me to the doc. By the time she took me, things were starting to get better for me and I was eating normal again. The doctor took blood work and told me that the blood work was fine. I've figured out why I haven't been eating. When things get bad for me or something happens that just makes me really upset, I don't eat and it's something I can control. Other things happen to me that I can't control but food is the one thing that only I can control. When I'm happy and life is good, I can eat like a pig. What should I do to stop this? (link)
You should start a simple hobbie. One like knitting or writing, or something that you feel you can control. Do it while you are upset and you'll have one thing you can control and might be able to eat. You might also remind yourself that yes, you can control what eat, but you can't control how your body acts to your lack of food. I really hope this helps you.
