ok i really want to lose about 35-50pounds.im 5'8 and 170 lbs.am i to big.every one says im not fat because i cary it really well.and i do.also there is this guy i really like could this be a reason he does not like me?pleazz tell me any good diets to stay on.i run 1 mile every morning and eat preety good.i am in basketball and run about 8 laps around our football field every day in athletics.thanxxx

I don't think you're fat, maybe a tiny bit overweight (http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/), but hardly. It all depends on your body type and if you have muscle. I think what you're doing now is sufficient, maybe you could do something in the afternoon as well since you run in the morning.
Also, if a guy doesn't like you because of your weight, then you don't want him to like you at all. Don't change because of a guy, only change for yourself and to be more healthy. Trust me, there are PLENTY of guys who will like you despite how much you weight.
