My mom won't let me date till I'm 18 whicu basically is never cause once I'm 18 I can date anyways so its never I want to tell her 13 is a good age but I'm too scared of a NO and I just need advice on how to tell her and what I should tell her like reasons point and ideas please help I do not want to get my first bf and 30 or my first kiss at 28 please help me...

Well im 13, so i know what you mean. She sounds a little overprotective, but then again you ARE 13, so you might wanna slow down. but my cousin is too overprotected, and she wanted to do stuff like date before i did. have you ever heard the saying, "you always want what you cant have"? well, just tell your mom first thing that you want to reason with her. dont diss her parenting skillz though, that will get you a NO right away. just say that you think you're ready, but if she still says no, then show her how responsible you can be, then ask again later.
