hey !
if i run for about an hour a day for maybe 5 or 6 days [[yes-i do stretch and take precautions and make shure i am fully hydrated]] how long do you think until i will lose 5 pounds?

Exercising is going to get you nowhere if you don't have a healthy diet. Running alone, you will probably loose 5 pounds in 2-4 weeks, depending on your age and metabolism. If you eat a healthy diet, you could loose 5 pounds in around 2 weeks. But be careful- don't try to loose too much too fast. For a young teen, it isn't healthy to loose over 5-8 pounds a month, depending on height and current weight, and for an older teen or adult over 10 pounds.
