There's really no way to "prove it" to other people. They're just talking about you because they have nothing better to do. People say the same things about me, but if you KNOW that it's not the truth, it shouldn't bother you. They'll find someone new to talk about before long and no one will even remember that they said all that stuff. If they actually say something to your face about it, you should just tell them to mind their own business. If their lives are so boring that they have to make up rumors about people... they must need something to do.
