well...so there's this guy named *B* and i liked him ever since i saw him in the 4th grade...i think he likes me too...b/c when he looks at me and then i look at him to see if he's looking at me then he looks away...i want to see if he likes me..and tell him i like him...but i don't know how...i'm friends with his cousin....so i can get his contact...i don't know wat to do??? Just casually say to him "Hey, do you want to go to the movies sometime?" Casually like it's no big deal. It can even just be a friend thing at first. The worst that can happen is him saying no.
With your family being overprotective, try to explain to them (and show them) how mature you are. That they can trust you, also tell them you and him are just friends. Let your family meet him and learn to trust him, as you and him are still just friends, then see what they say about you two going out. Don't yell or get upset no matter how much you want to. If they say no handle it in a mature way, that way they will see you really are mature. Then eventually ask again. Be patient though, your family just loves you and is trying to protect you.
