i have a running problem. i can only run for like 2 min and after that i'm so tired that really sucks and i always start running soooo fast and after 2 min i'm tired! what can i do to last longer? i know i'm breathing right! and in about 3 weeks my school has this running compatition and i dont wanna win but i also dont wanna ambaress myself so pleeaaassee help me!!! To be totally honest, the very beginning of any run, fast or slow, is the hardest part. I am a looong distance runner and i dont know too much about sprinting but as far as distance goes, once you break the 2 min barrier, it gets easier, lots easier.

Make sure that you do a proper warm up and stretches. Doing this gets the blood moving to all of your muscles adn prevents lactate acid from pooling (this stuff is what makes you feel fatigue) So i hope i've helped, you just have to slowly build your endurance and take it easy, your body will let you know when your pushing to hard.

also, there are two types of pain, there is the "i am tired from running" pain and the "i am injured" pain, make sure you know the difference!
